The Tadsen World of Drinks in Bredstedt is worth more than just a trip!

The Tadsen family of entrepreneurs and beverage experts has created a very unusual architectural space in a former, historic industrial hall.

​

The Tadsen world of drinks on the B5 in the direction of Sylt was designed and implemented by our KOENIG planning team. The shelving is based on our HK25 system with front support. The system was individualized with a few special components that give the sales room a very special effect.

 

In the interior, the central gondolas were made slightly oval by using 7° connecting elements, resulting in an 'arena effect'.

The gondolas in the middle of the room are gradually higher, so that an overall view of the goods is possible.

In the wall area, special backlit wooden cubes were developed, which are hung on the rear walls as a designation of the range.

​

Special support extensions were designed for the rear wall area, which were mounted room-high and covered with a partially transparent, printed stretch cloth.

 

The Tadsen World of Beverages has received the German Design Award 2023 from the German Design Council.

​

In 2022, the Tadsen family received the award from the Rundschau for the food tradeas the best wine department of the year. In 2021, the project was also recognized by the Rundschau für den Lebensmittelhandel as beverage market of the year (small area). In addition, the project was presented in the Storebook 2021 of the German Shopfitting Association and was one of the nominated projects in the international competition "Store of the Year" of the EHI in the same year.
